50 committed young professionals, with the assistance of experienced mentors, all from the fields of architecture, education and administration investigated whether design makes a difference to learning. Their research on the topics of
THE LEARNERwill enhance knowledge of educational facility design and allow discussion and debate into future directions.
Perth-based sponsor practices were Edgar Idle Wade Architects, Site Architecture Studio, JCY Architects & Urban Designers, Viridis and Parry & Rosenthal Architects.
Local and international mentors included Allan Tranter, Lisa Wood, Michelle Selinger, Judy Hoskins, Peter Lippman, and Karen Martin.
